BECAUSE FRANKLIN GOT ROBBED.! I watched the fight, It was a good close fight, but I still have to give the edge to Franklin... Hendo had a couple of take downs, but didnt do anything with it when he had him down.. Franklin was the agressor in the fight..

I'm reading around the forums about this fight and what I can see is the majority say franklin won.
i watched the firsdt round. ok henod took franklin down a little ground and pound. franklin got up AND THROUGH OUT THE ENTIRE FIRST ROUND FRANKLIN WAS THE AGRESSOR AND GOT IN ALOT OF KICKS SO THAT ROUND WAS HARD TO SCORE.
2ND ROUND DAN JUST TOOK HIM DOWN. DIDNT DO ANYTHING ON THE GROUND WIOTH FRANKLIN. FRANKLIN DURING THE BEGINNING OF THE ROUND WAS DOING WAY BETTER THEN DAN WITH SHOTS AND KICKS. ROUND 2 GOES TO FRANKLIN IMO. SO WHAT DAN TOOK HIM DOWN DIDNT DO SHIT WHILE HE WASS DOWN

I am a huge Franklin fan and it is all how you looked at it. I think that Dan won but it was a very close fight. 30-27 was just crazy!!! Dan didn't do much with the takedowns but the takedowns score and that was the turning point. I think that Rich looked like a much better fighter than Dan though.
It doesn't bother me that much because I didn't want to see Rich fight at 185 again anyway.

I dont think take downs should count if nothing is done while on the ground. franklin was definitly the agressor

I agree somewhat. I mean they need to count for something, but take down defense should count just as much as a take down. Also, if someone gets taken down and then they get back up without receiving any damage then that should count just as much. I guess that is what the judge was thinking when he counted it 30-27.

Me either. I didn't really want Rich to win. I would rather him fight in 205 than 185. If he would have won, it would have been a one way road back to Silva and I definitely don't want to see that fight again. Even though it was a loss, I think it will be better for Rich in the long run. He is a fan favorite....the UFC won't fire him or anything.

I watched it again and I really agree. I think Franklin won. Henderson definitely won the first round but I think Franklin won 2 and 3. But like I said, it is better that he didn't win. Now he can stay at 205

Me to just watched it agian right now. first round done.1 take down from dan and a few kicks and punches. as for franklin. he got up dan couldnt keep him down. dan didnt do anything to hm down.a accidentaly head but that cut franklin. franklin with his kicks franklin was the agressor.Those 2 judges scored it way wrong.
