Lyoto Machida...

I watched the Machida vs Tito fight again last night and I can't believe that anyone would think that it was boring. I mean Lyoto has an almost perfect fighting style. It's not like the guy doesn't engage when there is an opening. He literally beat the hell out of Tito. I mean Tito had his hands on Lyoto multiple times and Lyoto threw him off like he was nothing. I love his karate style, the way he fakes to get a reaction out of his opponent, his quickness, the perfectly executed switch kicks, and not to mention that he is awesome on the ground. After watching him over the last 2 years, he has moved to my number 2 favorite fighter behind BJ.


Prediction for 2009>>> Lyoto gets the LHW belt and controls LHW much like Anderson is controlling MW.

i agree 100%. it is fun to watch guys stand and exchange strikes but machida struck when there was an opening and stepped out of titos strikes and wasnt damaged or taken down.

pretty damn smart to me (and very effective)
