    Anderson Silva says he will not fight Filho!!!

    Anderson Silva has told TATAME that there is no chance that he will fight his friend Paulo Filho:


    “I would never fight with Paulão. We train together, we’re always helping each other and (Josuel) Distak is our coach. There’s no chance to happen. People can complain, scream, whatever, but it won’t happen”, said the UFC middleweight champion.


    With rumors of Filho making his way to the UFC eventually when Zuffa merges the WEC and UFC, many had hoped to see a middleweight clash between two of the top 3 middleweights in the world but now that appears highly unlikely.
    I wonder what will happen here....with the UFC combining weight classes, what will they do with the two titles??

        i hope sonnen beats the crap out of filho. but i would like to see how he does in the UFC.

          It will be a better fight this time. Paulo was going through alot of crap the first time they fought. He has been in rehab for a littel while since then. But rumours say that he is back to his old self and has his old attitude back. Sonnen will be in for a more competitive fight this time. Sonnen is no joke though

              Friends fight friends all of the time in MMA. I mean that is just part of it. Eventually, you are going to have to fight someone that you are friends with. Franklin and Hamill were friends and look at all of the TUF guys.

                its just not something im comfortable with..i dont know why..some friends i wouldnt mind so much..but i think the close the friend the more trouble i would have..its just the fact that i wouldnt want to hurt my friend...now these guys that do it for a job is a bit different..its work..i would spar with any of my friends...but actually fight them..there are a few i would not..
