I have last nite's episode on dvr and i'm off shortly to enjoy an adult beverage and watch it. Question, does anyone think Forrest has a shot in hell against Rampage at the TUF Ultimate Finale when this thing is done? I know he can be a dangerous fighter especially when he's injured but if Tito can hand him his a$$ what is Ramoage gonna do to him?

I DO THINK HE HAS A SHOT. LAST NIGHT RAMPAGE SAID HIMSELF HE HAS NOT FOUGHT OR TRAINED HARD SINCE CHUCKS FIGHT. EVEN LOOKING AT HIM HE WAS OUT OF SHAPE AND TO HEAVY. YEAH I KNOW HE WILL TRAIN AND GET BACK INTO SHAPE BUT I KNOW FORESST IS TRAINING HIS ASS HOUSE AND ANTS TO WIN BAD. HOPEFULY IT WILL BE A GOOD FIGHT.

1ST... I watched half of the TUF thing this morning before I went to work.. loved it so far!.. I LOVE how they make them fight and win to make it in the house...
Next, I dont think Tito beat Forest up.. I think it was a pretty close fight, I actually had it even until the last round when Tito took him down with 1 min left...
And if Forest can dominate Shogun, then I dont see any reason why he cant beat Rampage.... IMO most guys at the top of the divisions can beat eachother on any given Sat night.. for the most part (with a few exceptions like Anderson Silva) they are all pretty closely matched...

I would say rampage would have the better hand. He beat shogun but in my opinion shogun isnt as good as what everyone claims. But that is my opinion so dont get offended. You can say that forrest beat him but you can also say rampage beat "Chuck Liddell" of ALL people....lol.
I dont know, I mean anyone that puts rampage on a pedestal (although I like the guy), needs to remember he beat chuck past his prime. Also, look what Wanderlei Silva did to Rampage TWICE in Pride. Since then Chuck has beaten Silva. What Im getting at is that anything can happen, and you cant bank on what a fighter does against one guy as a bar as to what hes going to do to another. Its obvious that Forrest doesnt have a glass jaw so its going to take more than a bomb to end the fight.

I think Forrest has a very good chance at beating Rampage. I think that Forrest is tougher than Liddell as far as taking a beating. And Forrest is physically bigger than Rampage. I really like both fighters and Rampage has been around, but Forrest looks better and better every time out. Also, he is training with Randy and that will help get Rampage on the ground and Forrest is very good on the ground. He has good BJJ.

Forrest took a bigger beating against Bonnar than Chuck has ever taken. I didn't say he was a better fighter than Chuck...I just think he can take more of a beating. The majority of Chuck's wins were via KO quickly. The only beating he has taken was from Rampage and Rampage has beat the hell out of him twice. I don't think Forrest is a better fighter than Chuck...I just think he can take more punishment.

You can't use that kind of math in MMA man. Different styles match up differently with different fighters. Never happen again? Rampage has beat the hell out of Chuck twice. The first time he compeletly destroyed Chuck. I like Chuck don't get me wrong, but just because he has beat Silva doesn't mean that he can beat Rampage.

I didn't say he took a beating the last time they fought. He fought Rampage a long time ago in Pride and Rampage beat the crap out of him for two rounds. I agree the last fight was over quick. That was the 2nd time they had fought

Stephan Bonnar does belong in the conversation because I used him as an example of one of Forrest's fights. If he doesn't belong, then neither does Silva?? I have been watching MMA for 15 years. I am no newbie.

Sorry for all of the posts but I don't see an edit option. In response to showing signs of a beating...Chuck shows as much as anybody. He may not bleed as much because of the lack of scar tissue (which is why forrest bleeds so much). I am not using the bleeding, swelling, etc...as a base for judging a beating. I am watching the fights punch by punch and then determining whether it was a beating or not.
Anyway, back on track. I think that Forrest has a very good chance at beating Rampage
