    i don't know if it's chuck's training or the effect of getting KO'd by Rampage. Everytime Jardine threw a hook chuck's eyes got as big as softballs. I think he was having flashbacks. WTF was up with that spinning kick in the third round? Was he hoping Jardine would take his head off on that slow ass spin to end the misery? That was not the regular Chuck Liddell. Either that or he knew that with a win he would be facing Silva and didn't want to fight him so he took a loss?

          IMHO, with the type of gloves these guys use, as opposed too boxing, the difference between the power of the punch when delivered too the knockout area of the face is so different, that good punchers strikers can knock anyone out, so the competition is ten times greater at the highest levels of the sport, as opposed to boxing, whereas, a good puncher does not neccesarily knock folks out

          so, saying that, BigDawg made a great point on chucks phschye

            on jippeds observation, imho, 100% right

            my guess is was style and opponenet

            Jardine tends to move forward only, no lateral movement, where it seems to me chuck has knock out punch and great lateral reactions responses, maybe not so when pressed, which jardine might have done, just a guess based on what i've seen of jardine, who just bascially is nails tough, good puncher, moves forward

              I was surprised to see Chuck lose to Jardine. Chuck definitely needs to find a new trainer.

                    IMO sobral is pretty damn good He's fought some damn good guys and went the distance like fedor, dan henderson, kevin randleman....honestly I think he can take chuck I think when they fought last he let his emotions get the best of him
