IVE BEEN A HUGHES FAN BUT I HONESTLY BELEIVE PENN WILL BEAT HUGHES IF THEY FIGHT AGAIN. PULVER TALKED SH IT THE WHOLE TIME ABOUT BJ AND AT THE END WAS TALKIN ABOUT BJ TRAINING HIM
PULVER GOT HUMBLED BIG TIME. BJ SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE DECISION IN THEIR LAST FIGHT. AFTER THAT FIGHT PULVER GOT A BIG HEAD WHEN IT WASNT DESERVED...“Your desire to change must be greater than your desire to stay the same.”

Pulver is a better teacher than fighter. His fighters on the show did good but he got his ass handed to him. He was so out matched by Penn it was sad. Some guys are jsut better instructors than palyers. Look at golf pros for example. They can imporve anyone's game but they just don't have the mechanics themselves to compete at that level. Pulver seems too one dementional based on that fight. He could do anything on the ground, he couldn't avoid the takedown and his only strength (stand up) look poor. He didn't land any good shots, he took too many shots from Penn, he just looked out of his class to me. I don't know, he's obviously good enough to be a coach but I just was not impressed with his fight. With that said, had I never seen Liddell fight before and watched him fight Rampage I would have said the same thing about him too. Liddell looked pathetic in that fight. So, I have to give these guys some benefit of the doubt and realize everyone in intitled to a bad day.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.
