The report verified and substantiated exactly what happened to BJ at the end of second round when he thrusted up and around to gain Matt's back. During this upward and twisting movement, BJ pulled/tore internal muscles located inside and around the bottom right rib and fractured the rib. As explained, this type of trauma can and will cause a constriction of his right lung, leading to a substantially diminished breathing capacity.

the only top 10 guy he has fought is jeremy horn who without question is a tough guy but certainly not top 5. (it was an impressive win for sure)

he is fighting in orginizations where the talent is high but not top notch. i would love to see him fight in pride or the UFC.

dont get me wrong he is a top 10 middle weight but he needs to fight somone of his caliber to show if he is #1 in my book and he just hasnt done that. dan henderson would match up good with lindland. silva with his accurate punches and long reach would give him heaps of trouble. i think silva would win in the clinch even with lindland's back ground

only one way to see. that is for him to sign with pride or UFC

like i said he may be technically better than anybody in the world at 170# but if the man does not posses the ability to last for 5 rounds then he isnt the best.

I fully agree with you on this one. UFC dropped him mid contract after he earned a title fight. Many people feel this was because UFC is trying to go mainstream and Lindland's look and style are not marketable.

I don't believe Henderson and Lindland would fight each other since they are long time firends and training partners/teammates. Silva is a much better striker than Lindland was in his UFC days. But, Lindland stood with a very dominate striker in Quinton Jackson(who is a 205er) and fared well. I would like to see this fight. Silva has great foot work and timing but Linland is a pure heart driven competitor who does what it takes to win. Again, it would be an awesome fight.

I believe he is under contract with the IFL but I don't know if that is an exclusive contract. He was also under contract with WFA but WFA has recently been bought out buy UFC.

No, but he had two by the end of the weekend it was comical.

True anyone you throw him in there with ,at his weight, he has the ability to possibly beat . Wether he takes his training seriously probably is his worst enemy.
