he actually tossed out a challenge to real fighters none took it seriously. one guy named sean gannon a fat boston cop challenged him and whupped him, this got gannon a shot in the UFC and he was owned like a poodle with a pitbull on it.

as far as street toughs go kimbo is a rough fella but in real pro fighting he gets owned.

NO one he fights is shit put him in the ring against any real fighter and hed get his ass kicked. He got beat in one of the videos I saw. That guy wasnt in good shape either.

His hands are like rocks. He cuts almost everyone. I sure he trains runs etc and he is fighting random people that think they are badasses. That video where that white guy kicks his ass is a good example of someone that has some idea what he is doing. Anyone know if he can fight on the ground or is he strickly stand up

interesting thats one i aint see. Lets be honest hes fought a handfull of guys, he has no real stamina. he looks like hes about 50 to me, he is a strong dude and he does cut guys up real easy but he needs to step up to prove himself against some credible fighters. I dont think he can do anything but punch so logically he would need to step into the boxing arena, but i dont think hes got it in him to go anywhere. I guess hes content with 10k for knocking out these random fighters. a ninjas gotta eat i guess.

shit i would fight random ass dudes for 10k. i think against an experiences thai fighter he couldnt hang. I think if it came down on the ground he would be ok do to his size.

one of my friends is really into these organized street prize fight and apparently just to try and fight him you need to be throwing down somewhere in the realm of 5k so shit why not beat these awful dudes asses and get 5k

i tend to agree. personally I feel a lot of trained fighters who arent outsized too much would , from what i see , he is slow on his feet and no stamina to speek of. I think the gannon fight illustrates how a pretty mediocre fighter can cause him trouble when he cant just steam in with the big guns and win quickly.

one thing to remember about the groundwork, it can be incredibly tiring, his fitness again would be a factor.

a true test for kimbo would be a guy like tank abbott. he is not viable in pro MMA anymore because he has no ground skills and isnt in that good a shape but i still think he would own kimbo.

i have had fights with little guys whom i know i am bigger and stronger but they own me on the ground due to their BJJ and wrestling skills. i bet a good welterweight BJJ guy could beat kimbo easily even giving up 100# of body weight

he is a street brawler and nothing more (that dosnt mean i would wanna fight him LOL)

I'll give this much to the second guy, he's got heart. He kept going back for more, which is more than I can say for that first guy. But yeah, a street boxing match is no comparison to a full out street fight and not even in the same univers as professional fighters who master 3 or more styles of fighting.
