Why buy a 25K Dollar Camaro and dump money into it. Why do anything. All in what you like. There is some logic here to be found like I would not try to mod a Non Turbo car other than my acura. I like the acura becuase it shows it tail lights to LIGHTLY modded 5.0's all the time. Filter, Exhaust, H-Pipe, Gears etc etc cars like that. When my supra had Intake Filter and Tubing, Exhaust, Downpipe, and Boost Controller set @ 18 PSI and car went 12.50 @ 117. Another 2K and car was in 11's. Very easy to push these cars into the 11's. Just a high starting price but you have to pay to play. Like I said theres only 2 cars on the road around me that I know I will lose to in the 1/4. I will outrun both of them high up so Im not sweating it to much.

Again all in what you like. I personaly like shifting @ 9200 RPM in my acura and feeling VTEC engage and pulling by cars with v8's. Yoiu guys prolly like the innefficient rubling of a big block (HEHE ).

Bro...You have no idea the power that Supras are capable of. I can pretty much bet your car doesnt have 700+ HP. I went a mid 10 on radials. I know the car has a 9 second slip in it on slicks. Makes plenty of power and breaks the tires loose in 3/4 gear under boost. But the car still has full interior, stock leather, all souind deadening material is still in as is A/C, Power Steering and all factory options. Unless its a trailor queen, your 5.0 wants no part and let me rephrase no part of the Sup.....

i would love to see a copy of your mid 11 sec. slip from a street driven acura! there is a much different feel when you have a blown big block than a honda with 200hp that happens to be light. you cant compare. those cars arent made for speed. they are made for gas mileage.

You put that 200 Shot on your car and ill help you pick up the pieces that was once your motor. On the other hand i can put a lil 75-100 shot for spool up off the launch, which will put me way over 800 WHP. I doubt your car makes that, has the aerodynamics my car has or the gearing. Face it bro...lost cause...Ill still race you for slips.

By the way....I raced an older boxy style stang (not sure what year, I guess a 88-90) LX with a 351W and he got royally destroyed. We raced for slips. He lost. But the bastard kept on driving when it was time to pay up. I seen him a week later and he apologized like a million times for leaving. I let him keep his car. What would I want with that car. There is nothing that car can do that my car doesnt other than sound like a V8. Ill leave that to all you guys with your innefficient motors.

Hey Jipped, I used to street race all over texas and occasionally up in Dallas. I actually took 500 bucks from some thugs on Northwest Highway in 97'. I had a old 1990 DPS stang that I dropped a 347 stroker motor into, had the car bead blasted and painted Polo Green with mystic flames and an 8pt cage. It won a few awards at local car shows. Best pass was 11.58 @118 (all motor) in Ennis......7.27 1/8 time. This time isn't too hot now but this fast for back in 97 before I sold my ride.

I agree that there are some Supras and other Rice cars that have my respect. It's just unfortunate that 99% of them are all noise.
