wow...who knows what the future holds for t woods...what a fall. i think that british dude is pretty young. Its going to be tough for woods since there are so many guys much younger than him who are outplaying him. The younger golfers are working out in the gym and are athletic. If woods never makes it back, I wont miss him. The guy is a total JERK. good riddance to woods. -

Here is the deal with that ranking....the way it is figured up, it was just a matter of time before Tiger was ousted. He hasn't been the top golfer in over a year now but the process that they use has kept him at the top because he had so many victories when he was on his game. This whole cheating ordeal did not cause him to lose his spot, it was going to be lost once the recalculations were done anyway.
Mickleson, Furyk, Westwood, etc...have had chances for a year to over take Tiger in this ranking but always came up a little short. Westwood finally did it this past season because he played so consistently.
Tiger is going through some swing changes now and will be using a new swing technique that is very similar to Stack and Tilt (for the guys that know a little something about the golf swing). These techniques date back to the beginning of golf and are very sound and effective. If he sticks with this, he will be back very quickly and probably much more consistent that he was. They say it takes these guys about 18 months to get used to a swing change of this magnitude.
