What a idiot in my opinion. He could of went to a city like new york or chicago and made so much more money in endorsements then he could in miami. Now heres the kicker being that stacked in Miami now they wont win the championship next year.plus Cleveland could offer James $30 million more than any team, but that wasn’t what interested James this time. Dan Gilbert the owner of the cavs ofcourse was devistated who would be losing lebron but Dan Gilbert said it best lebron quit in games against boston in the playoffs you watch those games and decide yourself. He could of waited a little loger to see if he can win the big one with clevland but he didnt and surew wont win it with miami imo

Lebron showed what every athlete should do. He wasn't greedy by taking more money. He obiously doesn't have an ego because he will now be sharing the spotlight with Wade and Bosh and this is Wade's team. He wants to win championships and this was his best chance. Why should he care about the money? He is a mulit-millionare at the age of 25. Even if they don't win, he has a better chance of winning there than anywhere else. Dan Gilbert completely made a fool of himself. For a team owner to come out and act like that, I can see why Lebron left. Didn't Lebron have an elbow injury in those games?

They are stacked! Not to mention that the three players have agree to take less money so they can recruit a shooter and still stay under the cap. How non-greedy is that??

Clevland was a playoff team that needed some help but miami wont do it. when your stacked with players who have ego's like they do they wont win the championship. He's no micheal jordan,wade is no pippen and bosh isnt no rodman. Plus the bench the bulls had all those years was incredible the depth

Cleveland has done it in how many years now? If you haven't been on the Celtics, Lakers, or Spurs...you haven't had much luck lately.

I agree about the egos and that will be the determining factor. That is the biggest reason I didn't think he would go there. I actually had him picked to stay with Cleveland. Kobe has the new age Jordan role, but Lebron is a game changer for sure. It is hard to compare to the Bulls back then so I won't go down that road.

And depth is the other thing I am waiting to see about Miami. We all know you can't win with 5 players...it just won't happen. So I am waiting to see who they get next. I think they have already traded Beasly for a 2011 draft pick. We will see....I am not saying they are going to win championships the next 5 years (especially with the Lakers around) but I think they will be better than Cleveland would have been

ITS A SHAME THAT HE COULDNT stay and win it in cleveland...Had they picked up Stoudamire, they would have had a chance. Too late now.
Look at the awful things that have happened to that city:1) Art Modell moves the browns to baltimore 2) John Elway the drive 3) Cleveland fumbles the ball on the Denver 1 yard line, ending their chance at a super bowl 4) The indians lose the world series in the 7th game 5)Lebron James says goodbye cleveland...

If I was him I would have stayed..he was the Face of that city and he came so close a couple of times. Then he said he plans on winning multiple rings in Miami which came off a little arrogant to me. They are saying 80% of the people have a worse opinion now of lebron james...Yes, he has been the epitome of conceited!!!! Lets hope the dude doesn't ever win a championship just for being such an egomaniac...The nerve of him..holding his own prime time tv show just to make his decision...It was arrogant and a huge slap in the face of cleveland fans

80% of Cleveland fans. I actually don't blame him. Gilbert is crazy if he thinks that Cleveland will win a title before Lebron!!! They will be nothing without him.
