  • Jeff George Looking to make a comeback?

To bad this guys such a head case. He had one of the greatest arms the NFL would have ever seen. And he argued with almost every coach he had.

Jeff George wants to make a comeback to the NFL as the quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings. Even as a second or third stringer. Jeff George stated that if he had been a Viking last season, he would have led them to the superbowl. Vikings Coach Brad Childress is not interested in signing Jeff George. Jeff George has also tried talking to other NFL teams, but they are not interested either. Jeff George is 41 years old and retired from the NFL in 2001

Denver drew first blood with Cutler. I can clearly see Cutler's point of being pissed off.

George is better than sooooo many of the back ups out there. His attitude screwed him but I bet he can still fling that sucker!!!!

Oh, I agree 100%. But I would feel the same way if it was Cade McNown, Luke McCown, Putta da Clown, either way....... I would take him in Philly, and give McNabb to Denver. In a NY minute!

in my opinion he will end up like brad johnson and vinny testaverde....the only one that is that old and still has something left in the arm is brett favre... but brett retired at the right time.. but id pick brett over any qb over the age of 35... kerry collins is also a good pic

He may still have enough left to play as a backup. Yea, Mcdaniels botched that Cutler situation. I think the Broncos are going to stick to keeping him whether Cutler likes it or not. he's going to have to man up and play with denver for at least another 3 years.
