Shaq

So I don't keep up with Basketball much, but I do check the stats on my local team the Suns. What do you guys think of getting Shaq? At first I was skeptical but I started thinking maybe they got something here. They were going to lose those guys at the end of the year anyways so why not get the benefit of the big guy for a couple years to fire up Koby!

i think when he was young he would fit the west coast style of basketball well..hes too old and big imo to keep up with the suns offense..I think the heat got the better deal..On the other hand he is shaq and will bring some positives in a half court offense for the shooters.

The only reason Suns purchased Shaq is bc West Coast is seriously getting some quality players. East is really weak only 5 teams at the .500 mark..the rest is crap while West teams that have 50+ wins maybe will not make the playoffs. Lakers if healthy with Bynum, Gasol, Odom, Kobe and Fisher can take out anyone in the West. But then you have to face Detroit and Boston from the East..so it goes eather way.

Shaq is a "has-been" IMHO.

the lakers are sick man, i think theyre gonna win it this year against the celtics in the finals..The cavs are looking pretty good now too though with the trades today..ben wallace and wally szerbiack delonte west..theyre gonna start winning alot more games.

Shaq is what 36, was never able to make a FT so save his life, he was a dominant center once, but now is just an OK player. Dwight Howard is now what Shaq used to be years ago. Maybe Shaq was a little bit better because of his massive size.

Yea, but people lose credibility after hawking product after product. Icy hot, Pepsi, Nestle Crunch bars, etc... I still won't eat a phuquing chicken McNugget because of that Napolean Dynamite looking freak and his wetback friend.
