Just think what this is going to do to all the ego maniacs in the NFL, NBA and MLB. No way are some of these premadonas going to let some soccer player make more than them. Here goes another run of strikes, lol.

Of course, I do like the rule they have in MLS, only one player is allowed per team to have a ridiculous salary. That keeps teams from beaing able to buy up all the best. Not that that works, just look how many times the Yanks have choked. lmao.

David Beckam can buy the entire NFL organization if he wanted. The amount of money he makes from Adidas commercials and other stuff is more then entire NFL football team. His soccer skills have gone down a bit.. because of the age and all.. but he will always be David Beckhham.

The reason they are paying him that amount of money is because he is a SOCCER STAR.. there is many European soccer players who play in the MLS.. Youry Jorkaeff (A French soccer player who was really good in the early/mid/late 90's..)..then Bulgarian player Stoichkov.. very famous soccer player..

Now.. I bet even if Zidane or Ronaldinho came to play for the MLS.. they wouldn't get as much money as him.. cuz DB is also a celeb..with a hotass wife.
