Also, he taking Brazilian Portuguese, which is a combination of different languages. For instance, it's like learning Spainsh in Spain, and then going to Mexico and trying to have a conversation. LOL Ain't gonna happen because they use too much slaing in Mexico. Hell, you could even put a Mexican in a room with someone from Honduras and they would have words that mean different things.
Now that I think about it, we (Americans) are probably the worse. Things like 'she's smoking hot'. That would make no sense to someone who learned english in another country but everyone here would get it.
