UGA is deffinately going to be in the top 3. They had the forth best recruiting classes the last two years straight and there weren't any teams that were ahead of then both years in a row. In the last 3 years they have collected 27 top 100 recruits. That's basically the whole starting team next year. Of course, the SEC has had the best recruiting class for the last 5 years straight. If anyone beats UGA it will be another SEC team.

Recruit rankings mean nothing. If the guys who make those lists knew anything they'd be getting paid a lot more to scout and recruit for universities. And forget guys like lemming who bases all his opinions of a player on whether Notre Dame offered the kid. LOL.

In the end, I like Ohio State, Oklahoma, and USC - after that there are a bunch of teams that could have very good seasons if things go their way.

I left Ga out of the top 10 because of a possible true freshman starting at QB and some new starters on the lines....

Good point on that, but did you see that UF game last year. UGA gave up 14 points in the fist 3 minutes. Once the kid settled down, he took control and came back. The only reason they blew it was the offensive coordinator called two QB keeps on 3rd and long. For crying out loud, you don't call a QB keep with DJ Shokley on the sidelines. This kid will be good. As far as the line goes, I think they will be fine. They have a few easy games at the begining to work out the bugs. That's what I love about college, you just never know!

I have to disagree because USC and Texas have had some of the best recruiting classes and they ended up on top last year. These kids are ranked by how bad people want them and how good they played in HS. I think the HS rankings are pretty solid. Just as solid as the draft rankings. But, you just have to look at what a team needs. Their may not be any lineman in the top 10 but for a team that needs linemen, that's the top recruit. I guess they base it on the potential impact a player may have on a team. And you just never know how someone will play at the next level.

Yeah, Tershinki shouldbe ok but I can't help but think as high profile as Stafford was that he might get some playing time...it's hard to say...I definitely wasn't putting West Va in the top 10 like all the magazines..
