  • Awesome article on the NFL QB situations

I agree with everything except for the Titans evaluation of Volek, and the Dolphins with Culpepper. I still say Culpepper proves how horrible he really is in Miami.

Having Moss on your team is gonna make the passing game easier .Watch him get his numbers back up again this year with Brooks - which I think might have 1 of his best seasons to come Brooks that is ! Lamont Jordan was awesome in my fantasy he just needs to carry the ball more and he'll get better .Jordan gets better when he gets the load alot more

I just don't see Brooks as a QB. Let me reitterate, I don't see Brooks in the NFL period. At one time in Minnesota, Moss was considered a lethal weapon. Collins was just as good a QB as Brooks is, if not better. I really don't even see Brooks as a starter over Tuiassosppo. If Moss stays in Oakland, his career will be very short lived. I keep going back to Peter Warrick and Terry Glenn. Both guys are great receivers, but weren't cutting it with their original teams. get them away from the teams with mediocre QB's, and now they're somebody's again. Brooks is not the answer.

I agree that brooks is not the answer as well. Personaly i think the raiders grabbed Collins for his long ball and "potential" to stay an above average qb. ffwd a few years later and what did they get out of Collins? an average qb at best but he still has a great deep throw. I'm pretty much on the fence with the Brooks thing. I think if you break the two of them down brooks is a better "pure" qb with quite a bit of a talent edge.

The Raiders didn't really have a choice with what qb they wanted. IMO Brooks is a little better all around with an even better deep throw than Collins. That, to me, is the reason they grabbed him.

Sorry if that doesn't make sense, my head is still really foggy from the weekend lol...

I'm amazed at the some of the way these coaches and GM's think. If you had the choice between Aaron Brooks or Brian Griese, who would you choose? Based on past performance, Griese is your man. Give him the chance as a starter, or let him compete with Tuiassosppo. Either way, Griese is a better pick up than Brooks IMO. Collins has been a problem child since his Penn State drinking and Racism days. You are correct, he is an awesome long ball passer. I think Oakland though him and Moss would make a great combo. However, Oakland forgot you need an offensive line to keep linemen off your QB. Brooks is a below average QB at best. At least we can agree he is not the answer for Oakland. Bring back Bobby Hoying!

I would have chosen Griese also. I'm not sure about his throwing arm tho, i think he has lingering problems with it. If thats the case then i would choose Brooks over him without blinking.

Don't get me wrong on Brooks. There is no way in hell that i'm promoting him or his game and there is NO WAY IN HELL i'd want him at the helm of my team.

I laughed when Oaktown picked him up. I dont know his $ value or what they are going to pay him. But, like i said earlier, Brooks vs Collins.....I give the nod to Brooks.

                  How about Brooks vs. Tuiassosoppo?

I have yet to figure out exactly whats going on with Tui. I feel he has what it takes to be given the opportunity to make a name for himself, yet he's been there for what 4 years without making progress? From the limited action i've seen of him i would most definitely let him battle brooks for the starting role. I'd rather have a head strong qb with a little less talent then well, a backwards passing Brooks...

I live in a Raider fan dominate area and i think it's safe to say that 90% of them hate Tui. Why, i do not know.... These are people that attend games, mini camps, training camps ect...ect...so maybe they know something we don't...
