  • Marcus Vick a Dolphin

They signed him. Makes Harrington kind of look like a Danny Wuerffel now.

He has got a LONG way to go. One thing that the NFL has is good disipline. This isnt like the NBA or the NHL to an extent. The NBA lets players get away with whatever they want and then give them a slap on the wrist. The NHL let Todd Bertuzzi back on the ice after he ended another guys career with a cross check to the back. The NFL will NOT put up with his antics. And I dont think Saban will put up with it either.

You are correct. Randy Moss, Bill Romanowski, and several others are good examples of how strict the NFL is

Add Ricky Williams to that list too.

I played cards with Mike Vick and he is undoubtedly the stupidest dude I ever met. He is a great athlete but I dont think he will ever be able to read an NFL defense. I imagine his brother will have the same problems. What do you guys think?

Well Ricky is a better example I think. Ricky hasnt gone out of his way to intentionally hurt anyone. Ricky just has a drug problem. A drug problem he obviously isnt too keen on fixing. To Ricky, Weed>football. I cant understand that mentality because football=money in his case, but to each his own. You want to smoke the weed, smoke the weed.

I dont think that the NFL will be putting up with Vick's antics considering that he is coming into the NFL as a trouble maker. He has a known track record and while people are different, his brother, from the little I know about football is a pretty decent guy and is well liked throughout the league.

I personally dont really care because I find football boring but people cant stop talking about it around me so I pick up stuff here and there. Maybe Im wrong. I dont know and I dont care.

Now Rugby... THATS a sport. Especially Australian rules

Maybe not. But when you're as quick as him, you can just outrun the defense! My feelings always have been Michael really isn't a QB. He's a way better RB than QB. If you look at his numbers, he averages approx 160 yards passing per game, but averages probably close to 100 yeards rushing per game. That's a RB who can call an audible in my book. Marcus Vick is a way better passing QB than Michael. While Mike is known for his running ability, I really think Marcus will be the better passing QB in the NFL. And Miami has some very underrated and under used weapons down there. Frank Murphy, marty Booker, and Chris Chambers are 3 excellent receivers that never had a QB in Miami to pass to them. People down in Miami think Culpepper is the answer. Culpepper already proved he sucked with quite capable receivers in Minnesota. Harrington? Ahhhh, a great back up. But couldn't start anywhere except maybe Cleveland or Chicago. I really think Marcus will be Miami's starter. If not in week 1, definately by week 5 or 6.
