I have to give it up to Sylvia....he took him fair and square. I still think Arlovski is the better fighter and if they fought 10 times in a row...arlovski beats him 7-8 of the 10 times...

I watched the 1st round of the griffin/ortiz fight like 5 times and tried to count the amount of elbows Ortiz nailed him with...there were at least 10 full contact hits and over 20 all together...thats just elbows...

Forrest must have a head made of iron, thats all i can say. ortiz had that look on his face like " i just hit him with everything i have, twice....and hes still coming at me!?!?!?! WTF??"

That kid is freakin awesome...I hope he gets his title shot soon bc his career is going to be rather short. His face is a mess after every fight and he takes a ton of head shots...scar tissue on his face and potential brain trama will cut hia career short. His face is already a mess and opens up with ease...imagine adding weak scar tissue to it....it will be painful to watch lol...

I think Arlovski should have won the fight he did catch Silvia with a wicked right and Silvia came back with a weak uppercut .I think it might have been set up thats just my oppinion .I guarantee the rematch Arlovski will be favorite even though Silvia the champ lucky win

Yeah I watched it last night with some friends. Thought overall it was pretty weak. Dont know what happened to Tito thought he was going to take him in the first round. Not worth the $40.

the punch may have looked not so brutal but it hit the chin and a punch from a 280# man (yeah he cuts to get to 265#) causes alot of damage.

think of a fireplace log being swung by a 7 year old it is still gonna hurt even without alot behind it.

cecil peoples scoring of the tito/griffin fight was terrible. even with a 2 point round in the first for tito griffin definately took 2nd 10-9 and arguably took the 3rd 10-9.

i mean tito took him down once and he stood right back up. he still out punched tito 2 to 1 and landed more shots even if they werent as hard as titos shots you dont score on the heaviness of punches but what lands

i feel it should have been a draw and they should have gone round 4

and tito cant win and give props without adding how hard it was for him. griffin was injured in training too tito! he needs to quit whining and making excuses even when he wins and more people would like him/

after he fights shamrock which shouldnt happen because ken is a dinosaur and will be beaten in the first round tito will face chuck and be KO'd

My thoughts exactly. I hated that I missed the fights that night but I was drunk at a bar celebrating a couple friends birthdays. Figured I could always catch the reruns.

I was just lurkin at that IronLife site...wonder if any of the pros post there?

i have been a member there for a few years there are a few pro fighters. i dont know of any that have actually fought in the UFC 9 although some of the guys train with guys that fight there) i know of one guy who fights K-1 and is a big name
