What's up with the sport bike riders cruising around with their helmets attached to their bike and not their head? Am I the only one who thinks this is just plain asinine? I ride a sport bike and would never ride without a helmet and certainly wouldn't ride with it attached to my bike and not my head. That's crazy!
i know it's legal in FL but not in va and DC and MD......one of my friends friend died 2 monthS ago, crackeD his head wide open...was trying to pop a wheelie WITHOUT A HELMET DOWN THE STREET BY HIS HOUSE AND SOMETHNG HAPPENED AND LOST HIS BALANCE AND HIS BRAIN WERE EVERYWHERE...RIP , EVEN THOUGH I NEVER MET THAT DUDE....

Damn bro. I knew this girl I worked with and her husband did this exact same thing. Except he didn't die. He was in the hospital for a while and needless to say, the wife won't let him ride anymore.
that sucks mikey...ive lost alot of very good friends to that also. I live close to Myrtle Beach and alot of people drive out there in order to ride around with no helmets. Why?
I never see anyone wearing them everytime I go there, but it's not illegal so it must be ok then. I think a lot of the helmets add to the whole look of riding a sweet bike.
Those people are idiots and gambling with their lives. Especially in FL. The automobile drivers are bad enough and not to wear a helmet while riding in traffic with a bunch of stupid drivers in SUV's who turn into your lane without looking is just suicide. If I had a motorcycle I'd wear the helmet and jacket all the time. I'd also wear like two layers of jeans and make sure to have sneakers. I see so many riders now days with no helmets, wearing a tank top, shorts and flip-flop sandals. I also don't understand why guys let their girlfriends ride on the back with no helmet on either???
if i am in a no helmet state, hell no i dont wear a helmet....but why the hell would you pack the helmet with you if you not going to wear it.....leave it home if its not on your head.
the way i look at it is, if you have no helmet and crash, you will probapply get your skull crushed.
Wreck wearing a helmet, and get your neck snapped and live like a vegie...no thanks!
