a supra is a jap muscle car or as close as they can come to building one. they are awsome cars and when I bag on sport imports they always say what about a supra I ain't talkin about those cars. for the $ what do you think will go faster a carbed stock big block chevelle or a hightech stock honda 4 v-tec in a civic. if you spend equall amounts of $ on each car the chevy will always stay ahead. there are guys running twin turbo super high tech z-28s that have 600 hp at the rear wheel and then add juice and spend so much less than you would have to on a import. I like rx-7s supras, sklines I don't like little 4 bangers that sound like crap and some kid thinks it's fast lets just compare apples to apples and agree to disagree. and yeah turbo is cool but I like it on a v8 but I sure would drive a tricked out supra

Mos def agree on that. I caught an encounter with an M3 on 295 the other day. I have a bunch of stuff done to my teg, Intake, Exhaust, Header, Cams, Vtec Controller, some small headwork and Intake Manifold. Anyway, he caught me @ a dead spot in the Torque band, About 3200RPM in 3rd Gear. Needless to say this wasnt pretty @ all. So I came back @ 80 MPH in 3rd...about 6300RPM and hit it from there.....I shifted out of 3rd @ 9500 and hit 4th for about another 2-3K RPMS. I put about 6 or 7 cars on him this time as I didnt fall out of VTEC. It sux.

Just felt like venting. Id gladly trade 1500 RPM off my topend for another 50 or 60 Ft LB of Torque
