Only laid it down once hard, riding my 94 fzr600 at the time, some dumbfucker swerves into my lane directly in front of me and slams on the brakes to take a left turn. I braked hard, front and rear, just like we're taught, and would have pulled it out except for a drop-off and gravel where they were doing construction and the new pavement ended. Front tire buckled in the gravel, I went left and the bike went right. Fortunately there was no oncoming traffic, but it broke the gear casing on my bike, oil all over the place, had to push the thing home. First thing I put on my sportbikes now is titanium casings.
Scary thing is, I was in Indiana at the time, and there's no helmet law there. I just happened to be wearing a helmet because it was cold that morning

I used to work for "Drug Free America". A team of guys would go out every night and try to sell $3 candy bars to raise money for this foundation...
Anyway... One of the guys thought it would be cute to roll down his window and spit on this guy on a Harley as he went past. Well the guy on the harley didnt like it too much so he flew up around the car, laid his bike down in front it (causing our driver to stop) he took off his helmet, walked up to the window where the kid was sitting and smashed him in the head with the helmet.
He put his helmet back on and got back on his bike and left.
Needless to say, the punk ass kid learned something that day
LOL

Well
I was about 19 I had a 98' Honda R3.
Me and a buddy were doing wheelies down the street in front of his house durring a party, I looked up, was out of road, I set the front tire back down and locked up the back breaks on gravel.
I then began to whip left, right and then left again.
Then I went down sliding toward a 4+4 mail box post, with the bike sliding right behind me going about 30-35mph.
I was able to get out of the way just in time for my bike to snap the 4+4 post like a tooth pick.
I walked away with bad road rash on entire left side of body stiches in hand and mild cuncusion.
Piason....My old ladies web site, show some support and check it out.

So far the worst was my wife breaking her neck Feb 90 or '91. Basically a guy pulled out in front of us, we T-boned the fcuker, he done a runner and my wife has had treatment since. I picked up a few stratches.. Otherwise I've had lots more. Worse injuries to myself was about 8 yrs ago when I broke both elbows and my left wrist in a slow MPH fall. Almost ripped my nuts off once when I over cooked a wheelie and came off, damn grap rails.
Been biking almost 20 yrs now and still going strong!.

I high-sided my 91 fzr1000 back in the day.I had just made a turn from a stop sign and decided to give a little gas.Well bad idea the road was at an angle and the back tire started spinning.I was sideways before I knew it.I flew off of it landed on my left arm and did a roll and came back up on my feet.Got back on like nothing was wrong and drove real slow home.I got a little scratched up and bruised and the bike got about $1000 in damage done.Sold the bike without fixing it .Oh yeah got some good painkillers from the doctor though.
