leases are not like they used to be. they are very flexable and can be taylored to fit most needs. mick is right, and leasing is the best option in most cases. in dec. you could have bought an f-150 4x4 x-cab auto, air, tilt, cruise, cd for 168/mo for 2yrs at 15k a year. over mileage with ford is only .20 a mile. you could have one payed that same truck for a little over 2800 for 2yrs/24k. with no payments due for 2yrs. put that in a calculator and figure out your total cost over 2yrs, and i'm sure you'd see the bennefits to leasing! watch your deals guys...best time to buy usally dec.
Leases are for some people but NOT me. I have always bought my cars used with cash. THis one I put $7500 down and will pay it off in less than 2 yrs, after that it is MINE to do with what I choose. I personally do not like having much debt, as this is my only one. But thanks everyone for your input.

Lol, Just want to reiterate, "i didn't say leases are the best option". You can get good deals on them, but you can't use up a huge amount of mileage or you'll screw yourself. It doesn't matter to me though cause i would turn it in every two yrs. Also if your getting like a luxury car, like a CTS Cad, or Lincoln it may be better to lease, as they are around 40-50K and their really pushing leasing them here and comes out alot cheaper, with less out of pocket $ in the long run. I do see really good deals on new vehicles though, with very low interest rates like 0-4%. Now if you put say 5-6K on a new car say 14-20K you may be paying a higher rate for monthly payments on a used one. I am like Js though I pay cash so i don't really worry about payment at all, lol!, but it is a good time to fianance if you cant put alot of $ into one. Sorry to kinda hijack, lol! Hope the Pathfinder works for ya JS. Nissan makes a very durable vehicle.
