I want to pick up a new bike i was thiking 04 or 05 gsxr 750 but maybe even the alstare 03 edition. I dont want to take the hit of buying a brand new one but i dont want to buy anyones problems either.
hey O2 u still got that 02 gsxr 1000 that u bought?
A HARLEY HERITAGE SOFTAIL CLASSIC THERES NOTHING BETTER
Soon as I get my money situation right I'm going to get one of the kit bikes by either Custom Chrome or Nostalgia Cycle. Probably going with the hard tail chop by NC they have the old style pan head engines strapped to a bare knuckles chopper.
thats cool when i get old but for now i need to be able to ride wheelies and endos. i lost my liscense and got it back in october for opereating on one wheel.

I love my Dyna glides ever since i bought my harleys my CBR sits. Women dig harleys therefore i dig em to sure theyre slow and poorly made but nothing sounds like a Harley. And absolutley nothing shakes a woman in the right places like a Harley.

You must have learned how to wheelie. Last time you posted you were so positive that no one can wheelie a bike in 2nd.
what? He must have learned something cause you can just throttle it up in second. And even if you don't have the torque or horsepower you can clutch it up on pretty much anything. I can do a stand up in 2nd as long as you want.
Alot of it is opinion. You have your Suzuki folks, you have your Yamaha folks, Honda ect... It mostly depends on the rider because look at last season for instance. The CBR 1000RR was the dominant bike hands down. Even Mat Mladin said so, but he pulled the title off due to rider ability. His words, "I'm pullin out every trick in the book but those CBRs are powering by me." Keep in mind you had an over the hill Duhamel and a rookie Zemke on the CBRs he was talkin about. Then look at the class my bike (600RR) races in, Formula Extreme. The Buell 12R, Duc 749 GSXR 600 and many others tried to claim the Formula X class. The only time another brand got to stand on the 3rd place spot on the podium other than the boys on the CBR was when one crashed. Which was twice the last 2 seasons since the 600RR was released. Every race, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Honda. If memory serves me right, it was Road Atlanta where Duhamel did his victory lap on the final lap of the race walking wheelies and waving to the crowd and second place still came in 32 seconds behind him. Suzuki got on the podium because Duhamels competition, Zemke, washed out a few laps back.
As wierd as it sounds don't read too much into horsepower. The ZX-10 claimed 186 and look how it's season went. And if you have money to throw out the window by paying twice the price for a Duc that don't perform when it's crunch time, go ahead. You might even could put some spinny wheels on it and be in a rap video.
If you can get to test ride some for a day, pick the one that feels best for you.
And oh. It doesn't take a liter bike to be fast. All sportbikes are fast, and yes liter bikes are faster than supersports, but when you can ride a supersport to it's potential, you're ready for a liter. A friend of mine asked me the other weekend at the track when I am going to get a liter bike. I said as soon as you can keep up.
bro on my old bike 92 ninja zx-6 D, with sprockets it didnt want to come up in second, i never said that on another bike it couldnt be done. on the R1 it is was easy as hell. my argument was that u couldnt lift the zx-6, i have had all my guys try it and i have tried it 2,000 times. its too heavy, old, and weak. i can get it up in first then shift to second but u can't cluthc it or throttle it in second.
I RODE A FRIEND OF MINES 03 HONDA CBR 600RR AND I WAS SHOCKED HOW FAST IT WAS COMPARED TO MINE. IT WAS LIGHTER, MORE NIMBLE, I WAS ABLE TO HANDLE IT BETTER AND THROW IT AROUND. HONDA DOES HAVE A VERY GOOD BIKE IN THE "RR" VERSION
O2
