2002 trans am?????

can any of you guys explain to me the differents options and packages these cars came out with the last few years of producton?
Like whats the difference between the ws6 and the firehawk?
I thought the firehawk was actually not a production car,it had to be sent out to have the package added to a regular trans am.

If you know alot about them which is the best besides the ugly yellow collectors addition.I know the 2002 is the last year it was made so thats the one i want.
I'm looking at a 2002 ws6 bl/bl int, t-tops, 7,000mi, 6 spd, mint $24,500

The WS6 I believe came with a few more HP and a 6-speed tranny.

Firehawk? Must be a decal/dea_ler package (probably applied at the dea_lership).

The WS6 package is by far the most desiarable.

I can tell you that the plant they were produced is now a shopping mall! Yep kinda weird not to see the smoke from the chimney!

No, they used to be made in his area. The camaro/ta is no longer in production.

the firehawk is a special package that adds some features made by slp engineering. Badically it would give you a different hood, some decals that say firehawk, and some other engine type stuff which would bring it up to like 345 horsepower.

the fire hawk is slightly faster than the ws6. not by much. i love TAs had 3. GG i love mustangs too but the regular TA or Z28 would dust a cobra mustang until last year. the new cobra with supercharger is well over 300 HP pretty awsome.


WT why are you buying the car? even though it was the last year for the F body GM cars the reason they stopped making them is because the market was flooded you cant throw a rock in a parking lot without hitting one (granted most are 6 cyl) so as an investment it isnt very sound but it is a hell uv a ROMPIN machine! take some pics if you get it also there are tons of mods you can make that will make it a corvette killah if you got the cash

i drive a 94 trans am and i'am at 545 horses, the like the ws6 pak, but the firehawk is a bit faster, it is different hood, strippes and 18 inches, and the cam is different, and the ws6 is at 325 hp, and the fire either 335 or 345 don't remeber excatly

well first i had a twin turbo in it like a year ago, but has to be removed order by the judge, got busted racing at 147 mph, got my punishment and shit and leaned from it, here in VA u can't have more tehn 18 or 19 PSI i was as high at 23 psi and got fined for it too.

Saprks plugs bosh 4 platnium heads
manifold
mass air sensor GRANTtelli
throttle boddy BBK
strut tower braces on teh engine
sway bars
shokcs and springs (drop 3 inches from the rear adn 2.75 from front)
low thermostat
and other stuff to the engine like sensors and ect

well i bought the car and its one mean as machine. would dust my 94 cobra not even on the same level. I'll get some pics up when i can. I dont see many new trans am ws6's.hardley ever. I got bl on blk leather t-tops.
