I am currently shopping for a 03 explorer Limited or Eddie Boure, or an 03 4 Runner Sport. I think I like the look of the Explorer and the interior of the explorer, but the turbo of the 4 runner is nice for gas milage. So if you had to pick what one?

Id pick the 4Runner for quality and looks. However, there is no turbo motor for the 4Runner. They made a 4.0 liter to replace the old V6 and a new 4.7 Liter V8.

I went today and drove a brand new 04 4runner limited, and well i like the proformance but I love the look/luxury/size of the explorer eddie bauer or limited.
So now I think I'm just looking for the right 03 explorer, the reason 03 is price. thats it. I would rather not drive it off the lot and be the one to lose the 5000-10000 dollars. imo its smarter to let someone else pay that little price to drive it off the lot. But I think all the lots for letting me test drive all the time.
another reason for the explorer is price, I can get a limited explorer for the price of the SR5 4runner. I want painted bumpers/leather!!! thats a must for me! thanks for all the input though!!Comment
