It is a blast. Takes more skill than most think, lots of finesse.

Cars currently at 262HP at the wheels still normally asperated. She's down to 2732lbs from 3200lbs stock. I've only dragged once and pulled an 12.962, but that was bone stock on street rubber minus the jack and other shit.

I have another motor I'm in the middle of building for next season, shooting for 420WHP with a very flat Tourque curve.

I've gone a little crazy on this car:-). It truly is my track car only now, VERY rarely does she go on the street and then it's still on 285/30/18 Hoosiers:-). Mostly for the mountain's and for the little honda kiddies. I'll post mods in a bit.

Love those Bimmers. We sold our 528 and got the wife a Denalli. Now she wants a 735. Hell, I want the M5 or the up and coming M6.

Of course a 5 month old son might be a problem in that little rocket of yours.

As she sits today here is a brief rundown of mods:

                          Tec-III Standalone ECU, ODB NOTHING:-).

M50 Intake manafold, it's a stock bimmer part from an older E30, flows much better than the stocker.

HiOp equal length Headers, custom titanium exhaust from header back with a pair of simple dynaflow mufflers. Total stock exhaust weight = 142lbs Now its 48lbs:-)!

Sparco EVO II Driver Seat, Passenger's will be in it by spring. Stock seats in the M were 64.5 lbs EACH!!!

9lb Flywheel vs 26LB stocker, Sache Race Clutch pack, Saches Pressure plate.

Full shift kit (not just the knob) from UUC, including delrin inserts and ballbearing cartrige bearing.

No AC, or ANY remanits of one. 48lbs

                          Radio had to go:-( 24lbs

Advanced Design Ground Control Race Suspension, custom valved and damped. 550lb springs up front, 650lbers in the rear.

Spherical control are bearings for the front aluminum control arms.
