sport cruisers

who knows their shit on cruiser bikes? i want something sporty like a VTX or kawasaki mean streak that sleek cruiser look, with the big stretched tank. my problem is money, and i live in florida and dont have a garage. so i dont want to buy a new bike only to have it rust outside. (I have a car port, so it would be covered)


anyone have anythoughts on any older model bikes that are similar in look to the ones mentioned above, that i could get more in the 3K price range? if i cant find something that fits the bill, ill probably go with a used sport bike, than a cheesy looking mid 80's cruiser.

0-50 in 2.1 seconds.. still fast for todays standards
I get comments on mine every time I ride it..

do it up , i would love to see pics... im more interested in a cool looking cruiser. but im guessing ill get a better deal on a sport bike in this town.... not to mention , like i said, i cant afford the type of cruiser i want .

I dont think there is another cruiser that will come close to the performance of this bike.. IMO the V motors on the other cruisers are not for the speed freaks. Seems that the stock HP was 95.. Some light mods takes it to 112 or so.. Liquid cooled for cool running while in town..

yeah you sound biased... you think it would be a good first bike? i have little riding experience... but i want a cruiser over a sport bike... but it was looking like all the cruisers i could afford were gonna be a 70's 750 and i would look like my dad riding around...

any advice on where to find one of these for a good price??

The above bike has the side covers off because of the air filters.. Looks bad.. dont do that.

First bike.. I guess is depends on your personality.. If your a hotdog it just might kill ya..
I will say it handles better than any cruiser I have been on.

my dad seems impressed by the bike and he is pretty tough to get a good response out of... he keeps trying to get me an 85 Magna... sorry it looks too cheesy for me...

this bike looks hot though... I think its my new top choice for the money....

yeah well if jessie wants to sell me one of his for roughly 3K then i will gladly support him. not everyone can afford to live life the way they want.
