That's something being that the bigdog Civic, haha, at my track that's getting in the 12s has invested about 3 or 4 times that amount in his car. As a matter of fact. Since your an import enthusiast. Break it down for me how you can take a Civic into the 11s for 15grand. Mod by mod. Educate me.

And on the Subaru note. I hate to bust your bubble, but after the warranty runs out on any Subaru the only place for it is the junk yard. But, they are doing some crafty things with those little cars. I'd give one about 4-5 hard nights at the track before things start to head south.

All you have to do to get a Mustang in the 11s is exhaust, and change blower pulley. Even worse. The inexpensive bolt ons are endless. Nobody is keeping up.

Oh. and I notice you have a thing about gas mileage. Next time you pass a Ford lot read the sticker. 26 mpg.
with $12,000.00 I could buy a 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX (all wheel drive, turbo) AND get it in to the low 11's. And a shitload of people across the countrry do it all of the time. I have a healthy respect for the domestic musclecar and hotrod but it's been 20 years plus since all Japan put out was "economy cars" and I'm getting pretty sick of hearing Musclecar guys saying that no import can compete with them.

Now I think ricers with fwd imports with huge wings on the back ( I always wanted to move those to the hood where they'd do some good) and stickers all over them are a ghey as the rest of you do but at least show some respect where it is due. Go to Buschur Racing (BTW, that is a four banger), Imports are putting out some real numbers these days. Don'tbe so butt hurt because you don't dominate the scene completely anymore. There's more than enough HP and 1/4 mile stretches of road for all of us.

      DC

PS. My car ( a 1996 Mitsu Eclipse GSX) gets 14mpg and doesn't have one sticker on it. I am also seriously thinking of restoring a '32 Ford Cabriolet (with a few motor changes of course ;c)

Always thinkin they can outrun something because they raced some 16 year old chick in an automatic econostang then tell their friends they can outrun mustangs. That has to be how they get that they're fast. I outran one in my wife's Expedition a couple of weeks ago. A slow one of coarce, but he had wings and shit all over it and tore out like he was about somethin. That hurt his feelings when he got pulled on by a big ass SUV.

I got 30+PSI of boost for you

Bro...Id challenge any stock rustang to take a beating like an import...Wont Happen.....

My rings are gone in my Supra and it still makes 760+ WHP.....My Integra GSR went low 13's on Intake, Intake Manifold, Custom Header, Pipe, Cams, Cam gears and pulleys.....Its till a 1.8 liter...almost 1/3 of your motor.....Dont talk crap unless you know what your talking about.

If you are going to up the boost, you damn well better be able to up the fuel delivery as well, or your engine will wind up in a large scrap metal dumpster.
