hey vandoo.. thanx for the welcome i'm here for 2 more days and then i'm gone again for 2 more weeks... puerto plata, dominican rep. - can't wait...
the road trip was awesome.. we almost did 15000km... we saw lots of kool things, met GotGear, got chased by bisons, fell into creeks and geysers, got into fights with some drunken hicks etc etc.. it was really fun... i just wish my gf was with me and we had more time and money as well...

Political Science Professor is mourned

John Wilson, officially retired but still active in research in University
of Waterloo's department of political science, was killed Friday, May 2nd
in a highway crash near Cobourg, Ontario. He was 70. A faculty member
from 1964 to his retirement in 2001, Wilson served as chair of his
department and one of the most active members of the faculty association,
holding many positions including president. Plans for a memorial service
are to be announced.
