Ok lately, I have had alot of stress and alot of unwanted events happen to me from realationship to work. I have seem to have lost motivation to train, don't feel like eating much, and everyday I wake up to only worry about things. I'm I just thinking to much or could I be depressed?

DiamondBling, I try but most times these days all I want to do is sleep and when I wake up, I want to stay asleep. Like I don't care anymore and whatever happens happens."Truth is so obscure in these times, and falsehood so established, that, unless we love truth, we cannot know it."-Pascal

Maybe, you should see your Dr. about this! It does sound like depression to me!! I went through the same thing a few months ago and found out it was depression. It is treatable but, you have to go to the Dr!!!!!!Originally posted by latinsteel

She put me on medication. It helps make you more level headed. I'm not on it anymore. I've learned to deal with things better on my own now but, at first I really needed the medication. I just wanted to crawl in a hole and die!! I hope no one thinks I'm crazy after reading this. We all have problems to deal with, I just needed an extra boost to help me get through my depression!! Thats all! I hope this helps. Just go see your Dr. Your Dr. will be able to tell you foresure whether its depression or just a lack of energy!!Originally posted by latinsteel
Guys I hope so.
Petite what did the Doctor make you do to help treat your depression? I have never been depressed before or felt this way before."Do you believe in love at first sight? Or should I walk by again?"

hey man, I am a psych major, (like you care) but we have been talking extensivly about depression alot. Sleep is a big factor, but over sleep is also a big factor, due 8 hours no more no less, eat healthy, lots of vitamins, chances are restlessness from you work and relationship problems have manifested themselves into a sleeping problem, also effecting your apitite, which does not allow you to make enough of the neurotransmitters you need. The main one being serotonin, also prozac and other SSRI(selective serotnin reuptake inhibbitors) are shown to be as effective as a placebo, some what of a pharmicutical scam, they use these drugs alot to treat P.M.S, what you need is to talk out these issues and treat yourself to something you like at least once a day, and surround yourself with good friends, if you are bumming over a relationship go out bar hoping with the boys and pick up some skanks and fuck it off, remember don't let this shit go to head to much, it will only do more damage then good just get it out, also if this last more then six weeks see a physician can get serious, mentally and physically
