President Donald Trump restated his call for NFL players to stand during the playing of the "Star-Spangled Banner" ahead of this weekend's games, tweeting Saturday night that it was "very important" and calling on players to "Respect our Flag and our Country!"

He could have done it with more tact, but fuggit, good they are catching hell for disrespecting a long time tradition. They are being paid to represent the team and that includes being respectful of the fans and the flag..If my company had a flag ceremony and I refused to stand, they would fire my ass in a heartbeat. Why should NFL players be any different? If they want to protest, do it on their own time, not company time
