We put money in an IRA starting in 2003. Looking at the monthly statements were so depressing that I immediately threw them away when they hit the mailbox. We have never added any funds to the account since that initial investment. After hearing on the news over the past months that IRA'S have been doing well I got excited to see mine in the mail today. Well, low and behold we've earned over a 10% increase since January 2017. Think we may start adding to the fund for a few years.

well i have a janus roth ira i put 5000 in back in 96 or so its at around 5800 now.. ha.. no i havent added to that one. my other is work related and does well only cause of my regular contributions . -
