Aw man ! my favorite thing is the Cascades, I found a killer ridge where you have a total view of St. Helens, Baker, Adams, Hood, and Jefferson. I brought my ex up there last summer and we had a great time. you can get a killer buck assed nekid tan up there fer sure. I like burning one with a cup of coco while everything thing gets that intense golden glow from the morning sun. yep good times for sure.

Having a young child, and this scares the shit out of me. We keep things real open for her to come to us with any questions. Try to educate her, as it seems that a large majority of kids are smoking weed at a very young age. I hear the kids talk, and say how it is good for you, and that opens up an opportunity for me to talk to them. they do not even touch this subject in school here, but talk about other things that are trivial, imo. So the brain is still developing til age 25, and kids are starting this so young is interfering with development, on top of all the other things that affect the brain. When we were younger I distinctly remember that commercial with the egg frying in the pan saying this is your brain on drugs. Scared the shit out of me. I will enforce my own DARE program.
Every generation faces different challenges, and some kids turn to unhealthy coping ways. I am trying to instill good coping skills, but we can do as much as we can and when they walk out our door...we hope they make good conscious choices
Baby for an outsiders view who has raised 3 adults ( Yes Trixie and myself had the goal to raise adults not children) you and Fuzo are doing great. When you decided to stay home I believe that was your greatest move. Advise to all: The schools will not help, they indoctrinate so it is the parent's job. Get a logic lesson plan and do a study at home because logically thinking Adults make better decisions.
Pretty soon sitting down with someone to consume cannibis will be as common as sitting down for a beer. Thats pretty much how its going. Wonder how long before it is legal nationwide. Thats going to be hard to stop as more pot smokers reach voting age
There are at least 10 Marijuana shops within 5 miles of here. They arent sleazy old buildings. They bulldozed all the old run down buildings and put up brand new buildings. Beautiful landscaping. People are making boatloads of money in the marijuana industry.
Crazy that they sell concentrated stuff like shatter and wax. Over the counter. Anybody can buy it. Those things are like 100 times stronger than smoking a joint.
When I'm often up at one or two in the morning cause I can't fall back asleep, (my meds give me bad dreams). I can take a couple of hit off my cartridge pen and be sleeping like a kitten. I guess it's the same way people have to funnel beer down their throat. I still prefer to enjoy it the old fashioned way. Dzone ! here's a fun fact for ya, we have five dispensaries that are open at 9 in the morning, I have to wait till 11 if I want something from the only liquor store, that happens to be at the pharmacy !

As a father of three drugs and alcohol are a huge concern for me. With that being said, pills, booze, meth, heroin, coke etc. are all much more of a worry for me than weed. Around here, kids are popping pills and even getting their hands on heroin. There have been several OD deaths in the area. I'd never encourage my kids to smoke weed, especially at a young age. If they came home from a party and said weed was there, it would scare me less than the other nasty things in the high schools these days.
Most kids become parents before their in Highschool or have their first sip of beer. Or is it, maby they become parents after their first sip of beer or joint.
