So do I, I am a believer in Jesus Christ and go to Bible study weekly, church obviously, as well as serve as a leader in our children's ministry for several years now, and I too never thought of myself as religious before but some things have happened to where I surrendered my will and life to God and now am building that relationship with Him daily and my faith is strong. My little girl is growing up in our church, my wife is the bookkeeper for our church, and we love our church family and community.
I go to church and volunteer and all that too and enjoy it or I wouldn't do it but I don't believe that you have to do all of that. I do 100% believe that it is about your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

This is very true my brother...I just do what I do to keep me focused on what is right and what is good!
I have to admit, I have evolved. I do not consider myself religious at all anymore. In college, I immersed myself into campus crusade for Christ. Even was in street ministry. I would literally walk up to total strangers and tell them about Jesus. I loved Jesus more than life itself. I got all my friends "saved".Fanatical? Yes. I lived it 24/7. I prayed and I prayed and I prayed. I went to church, bible study and sunday school. I took summer courses at a bible college. I carried my bible with me everywhere I went. Year after year after year.
Ive studied the history of the bible more than anyone I know. That is what completely changed my view on the bible. 180 degrees. If you study Thomas Jefferson's views about the bible, thats pretty much where I am now.

I agree with this. I also find it interesting to learn about others' beliefs. I love helping others in need and I don't find that to be any sort of "religious" act.
