I am lucky I am not in a gov pension. Ours is doing great. I also have a good 457 that has done well for me well these last 19 years. I have 11 more years and I am done working. It is great not paying social security either. our retirement program is just municipal employees and teachers. always a growth sector.
i feel sorry for people who rely on SS for retirement. they will get back $0.15 for every dollar they put in.
