Cutting

Yesterday was a rough day and I took my daughter out to dinner. I instantly was brought to complete sadness empathy as I looked at the girl taking our order. She was young and had a big smile but from the top of both arms down to her hands she was FULL of scars from cutting. I have only heard but have never seen someone with scars from this. sat down with my daughter and she said "Mom did you see all of her scars from cutting and she is so pretty". Shit hits me deep how sad I felt but I told my daughter that that takes some real strength to not hide those scars and be ale to wear clothing that shows such past pain. Had she have been covered up noone would know. point being and this is what i teach my mini, you never know what lies behind the outside. I know as I do a great job myself...


This is not typical of what you would see on a forum full of men but if it hits anyone here then that is a good thing to me...

That is so sad Baby, I trained with a guy with those scars. My son was young and asked him if he got his arm caught in something. his smile turned morose and he said I was in a bad place, let your dad tell you about what these scars are. I did and my kid almost cried. I cannot fathom the depression and self hate that one must feel to want to hurt themselves.

I was helping a girl recently in the gym and she had real short shorts on. I couldnt help but see that the inside of her legs were scarred by what was probably a knife. Numerous straight lines carved into her skin .

Guys this really hit me.... I wanted to hug this girl but at that same moment I thought...yeah you for the amazing strength you found within. The dar is a very lonley place we just need to know that it will pass
