I just heard about NARCOS and started watching it this week. So far it is pretty darn good. Anyone else watch this one?

I just don't like that they didn't get a Colombian or at least a Latin actor to play Escobar. It just hilarious to me when he speaks. Maybe it's just me, but it would be like Antonio Banderas playing Al Capone it just wouldn't sound right aside from Banderas not being at least white -

I honestly wouldn't have known had you not mentioned it. Where is the actor from? They probably chose him because he looks very similar to the real Escobar, but I know what you mean. I just couldn't tell because I can't distinguish the different dialects of the Spanish language very well. He does a good job acting though imo. He's from Brazil. They speak Portuguese which is nothing like spanish. I'm just one of those guys that notice small details in shows and movies. I knit pick the fuck out of car movies lol mainly because I'm a mechanic. But yeah I think the show would've been better served if it was all in English and they cast an English speaking actor rather than having parts be spoken in spanish with someone that doesn't speak it naturally.Comment

I do at least know the language of Brazil spoke Portuguese but I still wouldn't have been able to tell..lol. I wish I could.
