    U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter said Sunday that training and advising Afghan security forces is "becoming the heart" of a U.S. military mission that is winding down after 13 years of war.

    Im afraid that as soon as we pull out , afghanistan will descend into islamic chaos as bad as we are seeing in Iraq. It will probably be worse

        So much for preventing terrorism by invading those countries. We have more rabid islamists now than we ever did before. Many of them were held prisoner by us. Thats what we get for not shooting them

          what do you do with a rabid animal? cage it up ?? no you put it down or leave it the hell alone. we should have understood are enemy before we got in so deep. if i remember it correctly all we wanted at the start was bin laden.we should have killed him at toro boro when we had the chance.

            Watc hed something on history channel about the ottoman empire last night. It was Totally muslim , around 1500 ad. They ruled a huge amount of the world and totally wiped out christianity in many parts. Killed constantine and turned constantinople into a muslim city. These muslims today believe they are going to be greater than the ottoman empire. They see a world that bows down to allah.
