Need Antivirus

Ok so I had to do a complete restore on my computer and I want to try a new antivirus but I don't want to spend a lot of money on it.. Does anyone know of good free antivirus that works good?

Microsoft Essentials is what we use and its free

been using avast free for years. never a virus and i go to some sketchy websites.

i am sure the paid does more stuff so i downloaded malwarebytes and it has a registry cleaner and basically covers what avast does not

all free.
