In Ma your license gets suspended if you get 3 moving violations in a 12 month period.

My worst was $350 for 105 in a 65.
I had the balls to appeal it and won.
I was only gonna ask for an extension.

I hate that damned license plate thing too!!! I've never been pulled over in Dallas for it, but I live in a smaller town out in the suburbs. ONE stupid cop with nothing better to do always pulls me over for it :2gunsfiri

Hey Bro, I live in Texas also. I just went to court last week because of the same fucking thing. I had 4 tickets in a year. But my deal is fucked up. I originally set a court date by my self when I recieved my first notice of the suspension. I wrote down on my desk calender that the court date was on March 12 when actually it was on March 11th. I noticed it on the day of my hearing but it was to late. I was 2hrs late for court so the judge suspended it for a year. Bullshit hey? well then I had to hire an attorney and pay him $650.00 to file an appeal. They granted me another hearing and I plead out to the original 3 months. I then filed for an occupational DL and that was another $150.00. The occupational liscense isnt worth it for 3 months. They make you go through a bunch of bullshit to get it!

LM- take CJ's advice. There has to a hardship provision of some sort which will let you drive to work and back. Most likely they will require you to take some classes while you're in the program. If you get pulled over while your license is suspended, you'll be in some sh*t.
