it's not really a white trash car - that was a little harsh. but that is what they remind me of.

The cars just pack a negative image. Not nearly as bad for a 95+ camaro. I think a prerequisite for a car to qualify as "white trash" must be a resale value of under $5,000

Oh yeah - I'm not denying that they are quick as hell. I'm not an import fan, but I would take a TT Supra, or 350z over an f-bad any day...

These cars in the same price range tho? I'd think a TT supra or a 350z would cost you 5-10 grand more than a LS1 camaro.

Supra's have actually started to increase in value just because of the novelty of owning one. So yeah, they can be either cheaper or more expensive - it just depends on the seller. The 350 Z starts at about 26K USD - so actually cheaper than the LS1.
