ya ive used mathmatica and did some fourier...i hate em, but i remeber soem

whats the question... i have my books still, i can at least look it up if i dont know

                  i already got it ... i had to do a fourier representation of 0.189018 + 1.54347x + 0.54769x^2 - 2.37875x^3 - 0.298586x^4 + 0.512909x^5 on the interval of [-1.82,2.18] and i had to make it a periodic function of 2 ...

I kept forgetting to define when exactly Cos[n(pi)x] was equal to (-1)^n so it kept giving crazy answers ...

now i got it all done for my presentation tomorrow and it's just taking the computer about 90 minutes ot compute the graphs ...

its been a couple years, but i remeber doing the problems like that. i always thought it was worthless in most practicle senses. they are a ***** to do by hand...but mathmatica makes it tolerable.

its tricky, if you have the slightest thing off it gives you errors. i used to get so pissed off!

in short, they are infinite periodic functions (sin, cos) over a fixed interval. its for solving some diff eq. its for like engineering stuff.

I am lost, but married a Math/Chemistry undergrad/Chem. E. Masters. Lots of different experience in the workforce. Let me know if you have any specific problems.
