I am currently in the process of building a computer. A lot of the shit im picking is a little overkill but honestly if I didnt go for overkill I probably wouldn't be on this site to begin with lol. Anyway I need help picking a motherboard and a video card or cards. I would like to be able to support up 2 6 monitors without an issue or lagging or any of that crap. Here is what i have so far. again I need a good video card and a good MB. I like the MB ASUS makes.
Intel i7-4771 processor 3.5 (8mb cache up to 3.90GHz) (not going to overclock)
Seasonic Platinum 1000w ATX power supply
Sata III solid state drive 250G
Fast 2tb HDD secondary dive
Ethernet port card
Wifi internal card (just for the hell of it)
Windows 7 pro - 64 bit
Ballastix 16g DDR3 1600mhz desktop RAM
Cooler master Cosmo SE case
Cooler master blue LED fans
Microsoft office home and business
UPS APC12000VA battery backup
DVD/CD
Blue ray player
This is the video card im considering the ATI AMD W600 Firepro 2gb 6mini display port PCI express card
Amazon.com: ATI AMD FirePro W600 2GB GDDR5 6Mini DisplayPort PCI-Express Video Card 100-505746: Electronics
I am still unsure of what drive to pick. Any suggestions? Any of you guys running custom computers, stock market/gaming setups or multiple monitors?
