    Dont know about FL but where I am I pay 60/month insurance with an accident (at fault) and speeding ticket on my record, as well as the fact that I am a new rider and under 25. This is with the MSF discount.

    I have friends with clean records that pay 200 and some change for the year. If your record is clean it should be cheap.

      I have never had an accident but I have had speeding tickets. They where all withdeld so insurance is not allowed to charge me extra so technically they dont exist. The cheapest quote i got so far was $138 a month. I really dont want to pay that. I am going to talk to my insurance company tomorrow i have been with them a long time they are great and see what they can do. If i cant get insurance for under $100 a month I am not going to grab a sport bike. Ill just grab a DRZ400SM. I have wanted that bike forever and there are a few for sale around here and the insurance i was quotes $34-$50 dollars a month.

        Well I applied for a smaller personal loan. I can get the same bikes on CL for about 2k cheaper. Plus with a personal loan its not a loan on a vehicle so im not required to have insurance. The cheaper price for the bike and the fact i dont need insurance will more then make up for the higher interest on the personal loan. Well see what happens. I messed my credit up about 2 years ago and started correcting it but i dont know if its good enough.

          good luck brother, all those bikes are good. I say sit on them all and decide which one is most comfortable. realize that if one is faster on the track but harder on your back due to aggressive ergos it will not be worth it as 99.9% of riding is on the street and if one is faster than another, it is not by much.

          i regret buying the R6 as it was harsh on the wrists and neck. the CBR was the most comfortable I rode. then the 6R was even more comfortable than any of the SS bikes
