I Really would like to get this cause I believe it is so worth it especially in our house cause we drink so much water. the pipes here are copper pipes and oevr 40 years old. the water tastes funky and smells and tastes like bleach. I am doing some research on these so any feedback would be great
Re: Reverse Osmosis water system...anyone have one
whole house systems I have installed but it wasn't my house so not sure how great it worked. the under your sink style I had and liked it. was from Costco and worked like it should. they have a lot of nicer stuff since I put mine in years ago would recommend them. really not to hard to install yourself either.

So you think this would be sufficient and work in a condo?
Re: Reverse Osmosis water system...anyone have one
the under the sink model would work fine if your concern is just in drinking and cooking . wouldn't know how to go about installing a whole house system in a condo as its usually right at or atleast in the vicinity of your main water line and not sure if you can or cant. I have seen pre plumbed loops in some condos and townhomes so I know it can be done but you would have to check your space out.
personally when my water heater takes a crap im gonna install a whole house system and start before the w/h inorder to hopefully prolong the life of the w/h . another great addition in the kitchen was the installation of the instant hot water. I dig that thing..

Re: Reverse Osmosis water system...anyone have one
i have one in my home but mine is mainly used for my salt water tank! for drinking water i have a water cooler and just go get the big water bottles. reverse osmosis strips pretty much everything and anything from the water and this isnt really a bad thing as long as you are getting essential minerals from elsewhere (which in your case im sure you are) great tasting water though!
Re: Reverse Osmosis water system...anyone have one
get a reverse osmosis system or a water cooler then! an under sink is obviously better choice if you drink tons of water. look at a high flow option or else it can be very very slow. i bought mine from ebay and installed it in a matter of hours! filters are replaced every year or two and can easily be sourced online or locally
