  • LVH Side effect

    I was on the last week of a cycle in October so I get an ECG done and behold...

    Borderline left atrial abnormality
    Incomplete right bundle branch block
    Left Ventricular Hypertrophy

    I have a treadmill test as part of a full cardiac workup tomorrow. I'm wondering if the above issues were cycle related. It's been 9 weeks since my cycle ended. I've read several posts about LVH and that it's temporary in most cases, has anyone heard of the other things I listed as a side effect? Under no circumstances can I tell the Dr. that I juice. I hope everything is fine tomorrow.

    I'm babbling now...

    Was your blood pressure real high ?? My ECG also came back abnormal, before being diagnosed with LVH. I had just finished a cycle, but my b/p was quite high (170/110). As soon as the Internal Medicine Specialist took my b/p and looked at the ECG, he said right off that he was sure I had an enlarged heart and it caused by the high b/p. Steroids were never brought up at all. A nuclear stress test confirmed his suspicions.
    Basically an enlarged heart causes your ECG to be abnormal, hence your other symptoms. I think ?
    I don't know if you've seen this post, but here's the link;

    Good luck & I wouldn't bring it up, just see how it goes.

    Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it
    permanent.

        My BP is around the same as your's. Even resting my BP and Pulse rate are high, always have been. I never really thought about what that meant until now though. Good to know there is a correlation.
