Re: Anyone have a touch screen pc?
Costco had some nice large packages. HP will probably be the name in PC for touchscreen. Honestly I'm not sold on touch screens. Useful for a tablet but a 27" monitor 12" from your face seems nuts.
Are you just looking for an all in one solution. The screen houses processor etc?

Re: Anyone have a touch screen pc?
Probably becoming standard because of windows 8. I love 7, but never jumped into 8 because I don't need nor want touchscreen.
I have a high res monitor, and I don't mean 1080p, I mean 1440p. What's the point of such high res if I can't see through my finger prints.
I'll surf the net for deals at big stores.

Re: Anyone have a touch screen pc?
The Mac line is not for everyone. You either love it or hate it. I personally love it.
As far as touch screens go, I would say HP is the leader at this point. I'm not a fan of dell really. I had one at home and that's what we use at work and it just seems like we have issues quite often. Of course the ones at work are "ghosted" on installation and I have never liked that either....but I understand that concept. I just think it brings in problems.
I agree that touch screen is going to be the new wave. Just based off how popular new smart phones are which are basically all touch screen, the computers are going to go that route as well.
For me personally, I would not want a touch screen for my desktop. It just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Like you guys said, I prefer a bigger monitor and a touchscreen will really defeat the purpose of having the big monitor. Tablets and convertible laptops are cool touchscreen, but not my desktop."He woke up because I kept punching him in the face." --Thiago Alves

You and fuzo should go to the apple store and test it out the people there are very friendly and you mighy just leave happy. Windows 8 is like a new system also... I think mac is more simple just like the iphones everything is right in front of you. Try it outGod gives the hardest battles to the strongest soldiers

For the first time in my life I recommended to a friend to buy a Mac. I've never done this as I never used one nor plan to. After about 4 hours of trying to walk him through the installation of software on his new computer he gave up, as did I. I told him that he should look at a Mac, not because they are better but he was honestly too stupid to load software directly from Microsoft that everything would be too difficult to use. Are macs easier? I have no idea. I have zero issues navigating a PC with Windows or Linux based Ubuntu.
This isn't religion, don't try to convert someone unwillingly.
