Retiring doctors mean problems for newly insured under ObamaCare
Retiring doctors mean problems for newly insured under ObamaCare
Some 10,000 baby boomers will retire every day for the next 19 years, including many doctors. But at the same time, more people will be looking for health providers under ObamaCare -- meaning there could be a potentially wide numbers gap between those seeking treatment and those available to provide it.

Re: Retiring doctors mean problems for newly insured under ObamaCare
It takes a lot of time to get a new doctor ready to practice, but a lot of people are passing on becoming a doctor due to all the hassles that Obamacare will bring. Dealing with the government, insurers and a whole slew of regulations takes up so much valuable time and money just isn't worth the headaches, so no wonder why a lot of doctors are either quitting practice, not taking any insurance plans or simply not taking any new patients.

Yes, healthcare is becoming a disaster. I have heard of many MDs retiring early so they dont have to deal with Obamacare being forced on them...
Many of the new doctors are coming from India and other countries.
Plus, with affirmative action, many female minority women are being passed thru medical school even though they arent as good as other more deserving students who get turned down.
