One day I stopped in to take my friend to lunch while she was at work. I walked in and she was talking to some old guy. She introduced us and we all chatted for a bit then we left.
The next weekend she was wasted and told me that guy was her old man work buddy and that he told her he didn't know who I was but she was in love with me. That's all she said, she never denied it or elaborated just left it at that and never brought it up again. Then it was like we were buddies again.
